Certainly my Costa Rican girlfriend says she doesn’t consider herself a feminist - I point out if she thinks women should have a vote, have them right to own their own business, be allowed to choose their own life and not automatically get married - all of which are life options she has chosen - then she is a feminist! But yeah, we’re both visitors in these countries, not there to try and change them. But I think this is a bit off topic. I hope you’re enjoying life in Mexico anyway
